Apokalypt Opaline Dream ('Lili') is the daughter of Porcelain Flame and a fourth generation Apokalypt cat. She was my keeper following the mating of Porcelain and Qiaoyu Xiaohei (imp China). Lili is a beautiful lilac tortie and white tabby Devon Rex who brings exceptional genetic value to our breeding program. She has been comprehensively health-tested and is cleared of breed-specific concerns, including Congenital Myasthenic Syndrome, Polycystic Kidney Disease (PKD), and Pyruvate Kinase Deficiency. Her DNA confirms her signature curly coat and identifies her as a longhair carrier and Siamese points carrier. With an A blood group and a confirmed dilute profile, she is a vital part of our mission to produce healthy, visually stunning kittens with wonderful temperaments. Update 6/4/26: Lili is reaching adulthood and will be mated shortly.
Apokalypt Magic Circle (“Magic”) was a kitten I kept from my first Apokalypt Devon Rex litter, which produced some of the most stunning babies. Even in the early days of developing my “eye” for recognizing type, I managed to pick Magic, who developed the best Devon nose break and chin I have ever produced. As a premier breeding queen, she has undergone comprehensive genetic screening through CatScan and tested Normal (clear) for a full suite of feline genetic diseases, including Congenital Myasthenic Syndrome and Polycystic Kidney Disease. Her DNA confirms the signature recessive curly coat specific to the Devon Rex, alongside a solid coat profile with no tabby expression allowed. Magic is a genetically versatile queen, confirmed as a dilute carrier, a longhair carrier, and a Siamese points carrier, while also possessing the brown coat color genotype. She belongs to the A blood group and carries markers for a normal length tail, typical non-folded ears, and standard toes. Update 6/4/26: Magic is now fully recovered from her C-section, and we will wait until Spring time to mate her again.

Patchefied Mocha Devine ("Mocha") is a distinguished chocolate Devon Rex who joined our program in early 2024, making the long journey to us from breeder Jo Menzies in Perth, Australia. She boasts an impressive pedigree that reflects a rich heritage of high-quality breeding. Her lineage includes her sire, Kyapark Discovered Treasures, a chocolate and white Devon Rex, and her dam, Pixiedreams Raven Devine, a black tortie and white bi-colour. With ancestors hailing from renowned Australian lines such as Kimbascurl, Kyapark, and Pixiedreams, Mocha brings exceptional breed type and a strong genetic foundation to our property. As a refined and stout example of the breed, her thick and deep chocolate coat and classic Devon "smelling a bad smell" face gives a vital and stunning addition to our future lines. Update 6/4/26: Mocha has fully weaned her latest litter and is in good shape. We will wait until Spring time to mate her again.

She has remained exceptionally healthy and high-energy throughout her life, a testament to her strong foundation and the quality of her lineage. Her mother, Apokalypt Ophelia Flame, was a deeply special queen in our cattery, and Porcelain carries on that cherished legacy with remarkable presence. Her pedigree is a masterful blend of prestigious international and local bloodlines, featuring DeLa Land Brooklyn (imp Lithuania) and Lord Bebeny Monhmorensy. This heritage includes a wealth of champions, such as Double Grand Champion Kyapark Hot Times Ahead and ACF AoE Ruby Double Grand Champion Kyapark Watchme Tantalizya, ensuring she possesses both superior breed type and a vigorous genetic background. Update 6/4/26: Porcelain is pregnant to Maximillian (a repeat mating) and due in early May 2026.

Apokalypt Odette ("Odette") is a striking black Devon Rex who represents the next generation of our breeding excellence. Born in the coldest month of winter here in NZ, as a singleton kitten. She is a beautifully typed female who inherits a rich legacy of health and show-quality conformation from her parents, Apokalypt Maximilian and Kyapark Ette Ceptional. This lineage is particularly special as she is a granddaughter of Apokalypt Magic Circle (“Magic”), carrying forward the exceptional nose break and strong chin that Magic is cherished for. With a robust background featuring champions, Odette is a lucky genetic capture given her curls are coming in at such a young age alongside a developing body. Update 6/4/26: Odette is currently in her growth phase.

Brighthills Olivette ("Livi") is a gorgeous chocolate bi-colour Selkirk Rex who brings a robust and prestigious lineage to our cattery from Sue Bell's renowned Brighthills program in Australia. Her pedigree is an impressive blend of international quality, featuring ancestors such as International Grand Champion Pauillac Honorable CZ and Champion Quido Honey Pie, alongside strong British Shorthair and Persian influences that contribute to her sturdy conformation. Livi has been screened through the VGL at UC Davis. Her results confirm she is Normal/Clear for Polycystic Kidney Disease, ensuring she does not carry the gene responsible for this condition. Genetic testing also reveals she is Type A blood and does not carry the variants for B or AB blood types. Furthermore, Livi is a shorthair who does not carry any of the four primary long hair mutations. Despite this, Livi provides excellent coat consistency for our breeding plans which has been reflected in her kittens produced on arrival - see Lady below. Livi’s vibrant health and sophisticated genetic profile make her an invaluable member of the Apokalypt family. Update 6/4/26: Livi has produced six stunning kittens to Bear in the first week of April.

​Apokalypt Ladybird ("Lady") is a standout result of our first "on-the-ground" Selkirk Rex litter, following a rather incredible journey. Her mother, Brighthills Olivette ("Livi"), arrived in New Zealand from Australia already pregnant, having been mated to Brighthills Fergal the day before her flight! Lady inherits a robust genetic foundation from her father, Fergal, a lilac Selkirk Rex longhair, and her mother, Livi, a chocolate bi-colour shorthair. This enables us at Apokalypt to breed longhair Selkirks using these bloodlines now in New Zealand. Lady is a key part of our progression, helping us produce a beautiful variety of curly coats paired with those iconic, laid-back personalities that make the breed so special. Since her mother Livi is confirmed Type A blood and PKD1 Normal, Lady starts with a very strong health foundation from the outset. Update 6/4/26: Lady is currently in her growth phase.
